The WWE appearance of Randy Orton appears during the Phillies game

Randy Orton’s RKO is one of the best finishing moves in all of WWE, and part of what makes it so exciting is the fact that he can deliver it from just about anywhere. Orton’s ending wasn’t the only trademark aspect of his game, since his entry theme has become so synonymous with The Viper, just like his final move, you never know when you’ll hear it. That includes tonight’s Major League Baseball game between the Washington Nationals and the Philadelphia Phillies, where Jon Kroc unexpectedly decided to jump into the song during the commentary, and you can watch it all in the video below (via WrestlingNews).

Tom McCarthy was talking about someone talking in his ear, and Kroc asked if they were really talking or if he was hearing things. Then a moment passes and Kroc begins singing “I hear voices in my head” for Orton’s commercial song, even adding in the song “The Viper Randy Orton Walks to Music,” with McCarthy adding “I thought it was.”

Just like RKO, The Viper’s music is unmistakable and can appear out of nowhere at any time, even at baseball games. If someone had actually jumped into Orton’s Viper position on the board, it would have made him even better, but that was still very entertaining. Hopefully Kruk will sing the whole thing off in a future broadcast.

Orton was thought to be in a WWE SummerSlam mix that, according to previous reports, was set to be Roman Reigns’ biggest opponent there, joining Riddle and Drew McIntyre at that venue all summer. Unfortunately, plans for that appear to have been scrapped after Orton sustained an injury that looked to keep him out of action for a while, and that’s when WWE shocked everyone with the return of Brock Lesnar.

Lesnar will return a few weeks ago on SmackDown, and Reigns will be the undisputed WWE Universal Championship opponent at SummerSlam. Riddle faced Orton’s teammate RK-Bro Reigns several weeks ago on a SmackDown, while McIntyre will likely face Reigns at Clash at the Castle. As for what will happen next, no one knows, but hopefully when Orton returns he can run. Orton and Riddell were one of WWE’s most popular pairings and had excellent performances as the Raw Tag Team Champions. We’re not sure of Orton’s plan once he returns, but if Riddle isn’t busy, there are plenty of people out there who would like to see the duo meet again upon his return.
